Champions League

Tonight’s Champions League semi-final is a big one; Paris Saint-Germain against Arsenal. The winner gets to play Inter Milan in the final.

PSG has a slight edge after winning the first game. Ousmane Dembele scored early for them in that match. Dembele is fit to play tonight despite a minor injury. Also, some key players like Willian Pacho and Vitinha are fresh after a weekend rest. However, defender Presnel Kimpembe is likely out with a foot problem.

Meanwhile, Arsenal needs a win in Paris to reach the final. They’re probably not feeling too great after losing their last league game at home. On the positive side for Arsenal, Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori are back from their injuries. Jorginho is still out, but Thomas Partey is available again after missing the first leg.

Interestingly, even though PSG already won their league, they’ve lost their last two matches. Their coach made a lot of changes in their recent game, which didn’t work out. It seems their focus is now completely on winning the Champions League. They are close to reaching their second ever final.

For Arsenal, their recent loss makes their chances of playing in the Champions League next season a bit uncertain. They haven’t been in great form lately in their league. Just like PSG, Arsenal has never won the Champions League. Their manager, Mikel Arteta, will be hoping to make history at a stadium he knows well from his playing days.

German referee Felix Zwayer will be the match official. Robert Kempter and Christian Dietz will assist him while Harm Osmers will be the fourth official. Bastian Dankert is on VAR duty while Benjamin Brand will assist him.

Predicted Line-ups

PSG: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz; Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia.

Arsenal: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly; Rice, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Merino.
