La Liga champions, Barcelona, completed their season on a high with a 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao at San Mames.
A double for Robert Lewandowski and a late Dani Olmo penalty ensured the league winners signed off with a victory.
Both sides had nothing at stake as Barcelona had already claimed the league title, while Athletic Bilbao’s Champions League qualification had been secured.
However, Hansi Flick’s side played as a winner to reach 88 points for the campaign, four ahead of second-placed Real Madrid and 12 above Atletico Madrid in third.
The Catalans hit the ground running with a goal in 14th minute. Lewandowski, having beaten the offside trap after been played through by Fermin Lopez, chipped an effort over goalkeeper Unai Simon.
The Polish striker doubled the lead just four minutes later, heading home from a corner after Unai Gomez had made an error from his clearance.
Barcelona then sealed the victory in the second-half with a penalty goal from Olmo. The Spaniard, who was fouled inside the box in the 92nd minute, took the spotkick himself to make it 3-0.
Meanwhile, despite his brace, Lewandowski missed out on the Pichichi award. The striker’s 27 league goals fell short of Kylian Mbappe’s 31 league goals for the season, settling for second place in the Golden Boot race.
However, the former Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund’s forward signed off from his best Barcelona campaign since signing three seasons ago, with 42 goals in a campaign. He is also the fifth-fastest Barcelona player to reach 100 goals for the club after notching his 100th and 101st.
The champions also finished the league season as top scorers with 102 goals, 24 more than any other team.
