Bayern Munich defeated Borussia Monchengladbach at the Allianz Arena to win their first game since being crowned champions.

Harry Kane scored, with Michael Olise grabbing a goal and an assist to help Bayern to a 2-0 win at home.

The victory saw Kane lifts his first trophy as a professional player, while Thomas Muller featured in his last home game for the Bavarians.

After a strong start, Bayern had Manuel Neuer to thank for keeping the scores level, with the veteran clawing the ball off the line to prevent an Eric Dier own-goal.

The hosts then went ahead seven minutes later when Olise’s attempt at goal was brilliantly glanced beyond the grasp of Jonas Omlin by Kane.

Neuer came to the rescue once again as he thwarted Rocco Reitz’s header in the second half to keep his side ahead.

However, as the game entered added time, Olise sealed the victory, combining well with Leroy Sane before tucking the ball into the net.

Bayern took the victory on front of the joyous fans as they lifted the Bundesliga trophy.

Meanwhile, Harry Kane got his 25th league goal as he looks to claim the Golden Boot award. The England captain is also on track to become the first player in Bundesliga history to be the top-scorer in both of his first two campaigns.

Also, it was an emotional day for Thomas Muller, who played his final game for Bayern at the Allianz Arena and received a standing ovation when substituted late on.
