The Indiana Pacers secured a thrilling 120-119 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of their playoff series, taking a commanding 2-0 lead. The game was a nail-biter, with both teams showcasing their skills and determination.

Donovan Mitchell was a force to be reckoned with for the Cavaliers, scoring a season-high 48 points. Despite his impressive performance, the Cavaliers struggled to maintain their lead in the fourth quarter. The Pacers, meanwhile, relied on the heroics of Tyrese Haliburton, who hit a game-winning three-pointer with just 0.02 seconds remaining on the clock.

Haliburton’s game-winning shot capped off an impressive performance, where he scored 19 points and dished out 9 assists. Aaron Nesmith and Myles Turner each scored 23 points for the Pacers, while Pascal Siakam added 17 points and 6 rebounds.

The Cavaliers’ absence of key players, including Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and De’Andre Hunter, was felt throughout the game. Despite Mitchell’s best efforts, the team struggled to find their footing in the fourth quarter, ultimately falling short.

The Pacers now lead the series 2-0 and will look to continue their momentum in Game 3. The Cavaliers, on the other hand, will need to regroup and potentially get some of their injured players back to stay in the series. The next game is scheduled for May 10, 2025, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, where the Pacers will look to take a commanding 3-0 lead.
