Kuminga’s impressive playoff performance, particularly against the Minnesota Timberwolves, has strengthened his case for a significant contract. He averaged 20.8 points, 3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game in the series.
Warriors’ coach Steve Kerr hopes Kuminga will become a versatile player like Shawn Marion. However, Kuminga’s style might not fit perfectly into the Warriors’ system, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his future.
