Paris Saint-Germain won the Coupe de France title after defeating Stade De Reims 3-0 at the Stade de France.

A stunning first-half performance from PSG delivered the French Cup, making it a record-extending 16th Coupe de France title for Les Parisiens.

The victory makes it their third piece of silverware this season, one short of a quadruple, with the UCL in sight.

The Ligue 1 champions were almost pegged with an early goal, but Matvey Safonov denied Amadou Koné’s long-distance strike.

PSG then started to dominate the game, as Ousmane Dembele’s shot was well-blocked before Desire Doue struck just over.

The French giants eventually got the opener, courtesy of Bradley Barcola’s 16th minute goal. Desire Doue played Barcola through with an excellent pass, and the Frenchman made no mistake as he brilliantly found the bottom corner.

The two Frenchmen immediately combined again to double PSG’s lead, as Barcola tapped home Doue’s cross just three minutes later.

PSG kept pushing for more as Reims continued to struggle against the Parisiens attacks. Meanwhile, Yehvann Diouf did well to tip Dembele’s shot away before Achraf Hakimi and Doue struck over.

Hakimi then put the tie to bed before half-time with a third goal. The Moroccan full-back volleyed home Barcola’s cross, past Diouf into the back post in the 43rd minute.

PSG returned into the second-half hungrily in search for more goals, with Barcola eyeing a hat-trick. The young winger almost got it before the hour mark as Diouf palmed his near-post effort away.

Dembele then hit the woodwork twice in the space of a few minutes, as his first shot was saved onto the post by Diouf before his delicate chip clipped the crossbar, although he was offside.

The first-half goals were enough to seal the Cup title, as PSG failed to add to the tally.

Luis Enrique’s side will now focus on the UEFA Champions League against Inter Milan, which is in a week’s time.

Meanwhile, Reims will also shift their focus to the second leg of their relegation playoff against Metz on Thursday.

They were held to a 1-1 draw by the Ligue 2 side in the first leg. A win is all Samba Diawara’s side needs to avoid relegation to the second division.
