Golden State Warriors guard Pat Spencer was ejected from Game 5 against the Houston Rockets after a physical altercation with Rockets’ center Alperen Sengun. The incident occurred in the fourth quarter, with the Rockets leading 131-116.

Spencer fouled Dillon Brooks hard on a defensive rebound, and Sengun confronted him. Spencer then headbutted Sengun, prompting Warriors’ center Trayce Jackson-Davis to shove Sengun.

After reviewing the play, officials issued offsetting technical fouls to Sengun and Jackson-Davis. Spencer was ejected for an “illegal headbutt”.
Spencer played 14 minutes, scoring 11 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists before his ejection. The Rockets won Game 5, taking a 4-1 lead in the series.
