Lamine Yamal has officially extended his contract with La Liga champions, Barcelona until 30 June 2031.
Yamal, who joined from La Masia, made his debut for the first team on April 2023, at just age 15. Since debuting, the talented youngster has exploded on to the top stage of football with brilliant performances.
The Spaniard has already made 106 appearances for the Barcelona first team, racking up impressive records in the process.
Yamal became the youngest ever goalscorer in La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Super Cup. He is also the youngest player ever to make 100 appearance for the Catalans.
The 17-year-old was also influential in Barca’s domestic treble this season; Spanish Super Cup, Copa del Rey and La Liga.
Yamal has scored 25 goals and provided 34 assists for Barcelona. He also has claimed the Golden Boy trophy, the Kopa Trophy and is presently a favourite for the Ballon d’Or award.
Meanwhile, Yamal has been given a new contract with the club, tying him down till 2032, plus a Ballon d’Or bonus.
