Pep Guardiola and Manchester City may be without seven important players for their match against Arsenal as the Premier League title race heats up. The Premier League race between Liverpool, Arsenal, and City will resume as the international break comes to an end, but Guardiola’s team will be at a worse disadvantage than they were before the break.

Along with Ederson, Kevin de Bruyne, and Jack Grealish, injuries sustained by Matheus Nunes, Manuel Akanji, John Stones, and Kyle Walker while playing for their national team have also been added to the injured list of Guardiola team. Walker is reportedly a serious doubt for the forthcoming matchup against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

However, he will undergo scans when back with the club side alongside John Stones. The report also stated that the Manchester-based club are monitoring the situations of Ederson, De Bruyne and Grealish and will make a late call for the trio.

Prior to the match, Arteta and Arsenal are also dealing with injuries; players like Gabriel Magalhaes and Bukayo Saka have withdrawn from their international teams without participating in a match. The Spanish coach will have to decide quickly whether to include the pair. Man City will decide quickly about the additions to their roster as the match against Arsenal draws near. On March 31, the Gunners will visit the Etihad Stadium.
